What to Expect

As you visit Crooked Creek, we hope that you will find that our people are friendly and eager to help you in any way that they can.  Here are the answers to a few frequently asked questions that we hope you will find helpful.  If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact the church.

Where do I park?

CCBC has plenty of parking on both sides of the building.  If it is raining, there is an awning  you can pull under on our South side.  You can use this entrance, also, to access our elevator if you are unable to use the stairs.

Where do I sit?

As you visit Crooked Creek you will be greeted at the front door by ushers who will give you a packet of information (including a map of the church) and will help you find a comfortable seat.

Do you have a nursery?

A nursery, coordinated by a registered nurse,  is provided at all services for children three and under.  Our ushers will be glad to show you to the nursery located downstairs below the auditorium.

What are your services like?

While we are not a formal church, we seek to display reverence for God through joyful traditional gospel hymns and sacred music along with solid, life-changing Bible preaching.  Because CCBC’s staff recognizes the need for God’s power and presence in each service they, along with the people, routinely ask God for His blessing in this area.  Our Wednesday evening services focus on Bible study and Spirit-led intercessory prayer.  Testimonies of God’s blessing are not uncommon and are always welcomed.

What do I wear?

We do not have a dress code for our guests.  You are welcome to come in whatever you would feel comfortable.  You will observe that most Crooked Creek ladies wear skirts or dresses, and that neither men nor women wear shorts.  The pastor encourages our members to dress modestly and conservatively so as not to distract from the purpose of worship and to honor biblical principles such as those found in I Timothy 2:9.
